One of the most common questions I am asked at classes is what should I keep in my first aid kit? The answer to this is greatly dependent on which bag they are asking about. My first aid kit has equipment to treat minor injuries as well as a face mask and PPE in case I have to do CPR. The bag I keep for teaching firearms classes has all of the things in my first aid kit but includes items to deal with gunshot wounds and other major trauma, and my bag for use while doing volunteer work as a medic is even more in depth. But for the purposes of answering the question I will share what I keep in my volunteering bag which also doubles as my tactical medic bag.
