The Permit to Carry Instructor Training course:
This course will prepare the student to teach the MN Permit to Carry Course in accordance with the MN BCA guidelines on how to legally carry a firearm in the state of Minnesota

Pre-requisite:
Must have a MN Permit to Carry

Topics covered::

• Adult education methods

• Handgun fundamentals and handling

• Mental Awareness

• Defensive Shooting

• Physical / Psychological Effects

• Minnesota’s Personal Protection Act

• Minnesota’s Use of Force law and response

• Basic First Aid and C.P.R.

• Range Safety Briefing and Qualification

At the conclusion of this course students will be required to do a range qualification as well as teach a brief course on a topic of their choosing.
